Stowa maakt ook vandaag nog exclusieve handgemaakte horloges onder de supervisie van Jörg Schauer. Dit zeldzame exemplaar uit de jaren 40-50 Stowa (Duitsland sinds 1927) met een fraaie - en typische voor deze periode-vormgegeven wijzerplaat, is voorzien van een nieuw glaasje en nieuw leren bandje.
Met een dikke 20 micron vergulde kast (doublé) en relatief groot formaat (33mm zonder kroon). Loopt nog steeds als een zonnetje. Hij wordt aangedreven door een bijzonder fraai uurwerkje! Gesigneerd met F-D (geen calibernr).

beginning of the 60´s Werner Storz, son of Walter Storz, joins the company. He was is charge of sales overseas.

protection of trademarks for "STOWA Seatime", which was prototype for our today's Seatime collection

STOWA launches the "smallest alarm clock of the world" at the Hannover watch fair. At that time our collection comprises approximately 1000 different watch models. (Rheinfelder Anzeiger (newspaper), 29th April 1970)

STOWA becomes partner and member of the German watch cooperation "Pallas", which has the main goal to supply specialized dealers and retailers with a comprising collection of market-conform and trend-setting watches, concentrated advertising and the maximum of service.

presentation of our limited Fliegerwatch "Bremen D 1167". This limited Edition is a tribute to the airplane called "Bremen", which was the first airplane crossing nonstop the Atlantic Ocean from East to West in 1928. The flight from East to West was the more difficult path than the flight of Charles Lindbergh in 1927 from West to East.
2005
For the first time, a STOWA watch wins at the election of the best watches of the world.
The STOWA Antea was taken first place from the readers at the election of the "Goldene Unruh 2005"

80 years company anniversary
presentation of limited flieger watches: Flieger Automatic and Flieger Original (sold out).

move to our newly constructed production building which includes our STOWA in-house museum

presentation of our STOWA Chronograph which is based in detail on an former pocket watch.
Launch of our Flieger Baumuster B with B-Dial. (only 42 pcs of the original 55mm Pilot B-Dial watch have been produced during WW2. Hence the Original Pilot B-Uhr is one of the rarest big pilot watches ever)

A second floor on the STOWA building is ready to enlarge the production capazity. A few hundred people visited STOWA at the official dedication of the STOWA building and the STOWA museum.
